ACCESSIBILITY

The discovery-center and exhibit layer give families a lower-friction entry point, while trails and river-oriented experiences vary more by terrain and activity. That makes it easier than a pure trail destination to adapt the visit around stamina, shade, or weather shifts.

GOOD TO KNOW

127-acre nature sanctuary on the Chattahoochee River with wildlife exhibits, canoe trips, guided hikes, summer camps, and a discovery center. It works well as an easy nature-day option when families want both trails and an indoor fallback. The best family version is to choose a shorter trail range and use the indoor exhibits as part of the day, not only the backup plan.
