Cleopatra served as Egypt’s last pharaoh and was admired for her intelligence and political skill. Her alliances with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony were central to her efforts to keep Egypt independent. This is a subject‑centered book club with a selection of books about Cleopatra on display. A video summarizing key historical facts will be shown before our group discussion. Coffee and pastries will be available, provided by The Friends of the Northside Library.
